Who we are

Candlewood Expositions is lead by event industry John Moriarty. John founded the firm in 2016 to manage events in the financial space for two association clients. Since then the Candlewood has added clients in the financial, scientific and automotive markets.

Moriarty began his events career in 1995 when he joined Reed Exhibitions ultimately running event portfolios in electronics manufacturing, process manufacturing, wireless technology, and eyewear/eyecare. He has run events as large as $17 million in annual revenues, and has launched several new successful events in his career. John also worked at Penton Media, Hannover Fairs USA, and Eagle Eye Expositions running event portfolios in over 20 different industries. In his spare time, John’s volunteer work includes serving as the Secretary and Executive Committee Member of the Border Patrol Foundation. The mission of the BPF is to honor the memory of fallen U.S. Border Patrol agents and provide support and resources to the families. John and his wife and two adult children are avid boaters who spend summer weekends enjoying friends and family on Candlewood Lake in Connecticut. Caption Goes Here
